Juventus vs Barcelona

Juventus couldn’t wish for a better season as the team once again showed that they are surely the strongest side in the country by winning the league, but also taking the Cup by winning over Lazio two weeks ago with a 2:1 overtime result.
However, real surprise came in Champions League as the team managed to reach the Grand Finals even though they weren’t favorites for it at the start of the season. In the last game before this one, Juventus had a 2:2 draw away to Verona in the last round of Italian Serie A, where the squad was rotated while the players were surely with their heads already in Berlin. Even so, they were a better side and deserved maybe something more during the match, but got unfortunately equalized in third minute of additional time. Coach Massimiliano Allegri will be without defender Martin Caceres (12/1), who is anyway long term absentee due ankle problem, while they will also miss much more important defender Giorgio Chiellini (28/0) who has been ruled out due calf injury. Other defender, Andrea Barzagli (10/0) is also a doubt, but has been training all season and should in the end partner Bonucci in their defense, with the team being lined in a 4-3-1-2 formation. Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez will be leading their attack.




Barcelona, same as their rivals in tonight’s game, also managed to get the double crown by winning the title and Cup competition. They secured the Primera title few weeks ago, but also come from winning the Cup competition in the finals over Bilbao last weekend.
It was yet another completely professional victory inside Spain, as Barca won with a 3:1 result thanks to goals from Messi in 20th, Neymar in 36th and Messi again in 74th. All the players of Bilbao did, was to score a goal in 80th minute via Williams, even though there is no doubt that the players of Barcelona were much more dominant and have deserved to celebrate with a bigger margin. Coach Luis Enrique has only midfielder Andres Iniesta (24/0) as doubtful, but the player should be fit to start the match in Berlin. Other then that, Enrique has the luxury of fully fit squad to chose from and he will probably be fielding an unchanged squad from the one that played Copa Del Rey finals. This means Marc-Andre ter Stegen will be between the posts instead of Claudio Bravo.

Shouldn’t be questionable that Barcelona will try to control the game and that the Italian side will try to make the damage trough counter attacks. Using wingers is common things for both sides and I believe that the corners line should be higher for two corners at least, making us a decent value bet int he Grand Finale.
